Artmaking is an act of divination in communion with the subconscious, imagination, and the quantum Akasha which holds the imprints of all that has been and might be. Creativity is innately human, and for some, a gift that has led to the choosing of an unconventional professional path in a world that often values the opposite.
From one artist to another - I tap into my deepest ability to span both akashic channelling and lived creative understanding with over 15 years' experience working as an artist.
This art-themed version of the classic reading is specially designed to help artists and creative beings connect with their divine purpose, work through challenges, underlying issues, and call upon the guidance of cosmic allies to align with their highest creative selves.

Questions and areas of inquiry include:

What am I meant to channel through my creative spirit?
What am I meant to learn on my path as an artist?
Are there past lives where I was an artist, and what am I meant to continue or learn in this lifetime?
How can I make sustainable income as an artist?
Issues of self-doubt and self-worth
Guidance on specific projects
Specific rituals for harnessing creative potential and discipline

Not suitable for those in their first trimester of pregnancy or those under 18. This is not a religious practice, but a spiritual one. It does not predict, or guarantee outcomes, but works to empower you to co-create with the information shared.
Doing an akashic reading with Salty felt like having a deep, cleansing, replenishing psychic bath. She's both sensitive and surefooted as an akashic practitioner, and I felt like we were tracing and restoring the contours of a desire path in my artistic life that had become overgrown with decision paralysis, creative anxiety and overthinking. The day after the reading, I finished a piece of challenging writing that had previously waylaid me for a month. The akashic reading both reassured me and reaffirmed that some of the instincts I'd felt had been orienting me in the right direction. Thank you so much.

More about the quantum Akashic field here.
Sessions are conducted over Zoom, except when there are in-person specials.
Zoom sessions are not any less powerful than in-person sessions. They allow us to connect across space-time from the comfort of our personal spaces. Importantly, you can rest right after the reading.

Please download and register for Zoom so that you can record the session. You are recommended to download and keep the audio of the session.

Please plan to be alone, undisturbed, and indoors for the length of the session. It is best to have little or no plans after so you can rest and integrate.

Come with 3-5 questions from the list above or your own.

Sessions can be conducted in English, Mandarin, or intermediate French.
The Artists' Institute for Quantum Kinship - residency at dblspace

Discounted astro and akashic readings
until Jan 16

By booking these readings, you help contribute to our research into the symbiosis between artistic and divinatory practices. Details of your session may be used anonymously as part of our research, which may be presented publicly. All identifying details will be removed, and further obscured with fictitious ones to take extra care.

The Artists' Institute for Quantum Kinship, run by astrologer Ang Kia Yee and akashic records practitioner Salty Xi Jie Ng, both artists, investigates the symbiosis between artistic and divinatory practices.
Astrology maps and articulates the story of an individual through a process both mathematical and lyrical; akashic channelling taps intimately into the quantum field of consciousness for messages from otherworldly allies. These relational practices help us understand how we are inherently constellational, within and without, across space-time.

In our epistemological age which favours logic, rationality, and what is visible, measurable, and quantifiable, these practices have been relegated to the categories of the esoteric, irrational, and illusory. They nonetheless persist in dedicated communities comprising practitioners who are committed to the luminosity and potency of these practices of knowledge. More recently, research into quantum physics has revealed that the apparent solid and fixed nature of what we see and think we know is far from the truth of reality, which extends past the visible, measurable, and quantifiable.
Similarly, art-making and devising an artistic practice over a lifetime is not unlike a continuous act of divination, conjuring, prophecy, and communion with the otherworldly. Seeing these resonances, we decided to establish The Artists’ Institute for Quantum Kinship to investigate, deepen, and extend these intersections to and with fellow artists.

Residency at dblspace
This first season of activation at the Institute takes place as a residency at dblspace (Singapore) for the month of January 2026.

We will activate the space with a myriad of activities, such as a workshop for artists to learn to read their astrological charts and a group akashic meditation (both art practice themed), as well as private astrological and akashic readings for those who choose to delve deeper. Additionally, we wish to explore affirmations as an emotional and spiritual tool for artists - leading a workshop and hosting a final gathering where we will share our original affirmational soundtrack for Singaporean artists, crafted from our research into our peers’ anxieties and aspirations. The final gathering will also include a discussion on the tension between the rational and divinatory. The space will evolve with annotated birth charts, drawings and notes from our readings, events, and encounters.

We are interested in dblspace as a centrally-sited space to research the intersections of art and quantum kinship, building expanded community in the process. We wish to cultivate intimacies between artists, between artists and the cosmos, between art and the cosmos. dblspace, as an accessible space which is visible to and well-known by the arts community, would be an ideal place for the first iteration of the Institute to emerge—to be a space where artists gather; deepen their relationships with art and the cosmos through these divinatory lenses; and develop new intimacies with themselves, each other, and the world.

Note: the art-themed readings offered at a discount are not an official part of the residency, but run in parallel and are part of our ongoing research.
